Guest Presenter: Janice Strawder

Janice Strawder is currently a studio artist and teacher in the Philadelphia, PA area. She received her BFA in 1987, from Wichita State University; and her MFA in 1991 from Louisana State University, Baton Rouge, Lousiana. Janice teaches ceramics at The Clay Studio, Philadelphia and Wayne Art Center, PA. Janice curated the contemporary portion of "Redware: Tradition and Beyond", an exhibition held at The Clay Studio in October 1999. She was also co-curator of "Living with Tile: The Art of Installation" and Architectural Tile Invitational, held in conjunction with The Tile Heritage Foundation's national/annual tile symposium.
