Rudy Audio and his wife, Lela, are foundimg members of the Archie Bray Foundation along with Peter Voulkos. Rudy is Professor Emeritus from the University of Montana where he had served as Chair of the Ceramics Department. In this workshop, Rudy revisited some of the forms he has created previously on which featured the female form and horses painted with influnces from Picasso, Moore, Marini, Tamayo, Noguchi, and Rivera. Rudy is respected as one of the most influential, internationally known ceramics artists in the United States today.
Ron Meyers is Professor Emeritus at the University of Georgia and has conducted workshops throughout the country and internationally. Ron is one of America's best known ceramic artists. His work combines function with drawn images that evoke whimsical and spontanious expressions. The use of sprigging and slip to decorate his wheel thrown objects are unique and collected world-wide
